Vehicle Description
The 1947 Chevrolet 3100 is the first year for the now iconic
Advanced Design pickup, but that kind of history is not what really
caught your eye. Sure, this is the steel that launched a legend,
but you know you want it because of the cool matte paint, comfy
interior, V8 power, and fully coordinated total package.
We already told you why the year makes this such a significant
pickup. It's a story you'll love telling your friends right after
they compliment you on the cool paint. Matte black is a terrific
color to instantly make this truck look aggressive. And thanks to a
proper investment, the full package has an even sheen when the
sunlight hits this classic. And they even got the details right
with the blacked-out grille and matte black slats for the real wood
truck bed. The custom aggressive attitude continues with the shaved
door handles, hot rod mirrors, and a full red pinstriping package
that proudly announces this is a '47. Plus, everyone loves the look
of a chopped cab. But this truck also has a very bright side. The
chrome bumpers, crystal clear headlights, Chevrolet badging, and
two-piece wheel trim adds a vivid and premium touch.
If you liked the red details against the black on the exterior,
then you'll love how the red takes over even more inside. They went
to great lengths to make this both sporty and comfortable. For
example, the two-tone bucket seats not only look great, but they
have far better bolstering than anything from the 1940s. In-between
is a custom center console that houses the AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB
input, cup holders, and the B&M shifter. You get a later model
Chevy steering wheel finished in black and red, and it's mounted on
a tilt column. It gives you an excellent view of the full set of
upgraded Omega Kustom gauges.
The engine bay has a nice look with plenty of fresh components. The
dark inner walls funnel all your attention to the 355 cubic-inch V8
in the middle. It has been upgraded with the right components,
including a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock
Performer EPS intake, aluminum radiator, HEI ignition, and a
sweet-sounding dual exhaust. Plus, you have great driving upgrades,
like an independent front suspension w/tubular A-arms, thick front
sway bar, three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and
power brakes with discs up front. So this mean-looking pickup is
also quite a nice cruiser.
They took a significant pickup and gave it a cool look and a
terrific feeling on the road. So you get a custom that you'll love
driving and a story to tell everywhere you arrive. That makes for
an awesome total package. Call today!!!
