Vehicle Description
This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 already had the pedigree to be an
awesome classic, and that's even before you checked out the awesome
color combo, exceptionally low mileage, and well-preserved overall
condition of this collectable.
The C4 ZR-1 changed the Corvette landscape in a big way. It proved
that there was a market for a take-no-prisoners Corvette, even at
nearly double the price for a base coupe. With performance that was
truly world class, the ZR-1 was a supercar exotic that became an
immediate icon. So when a car is an instant classic, it gets
instant respect, too. That's how you can find a nice example like
this that has averaged less than 750 miles annually. And when you
have a pristinely preserved car, it just looks outstanding in
white. The factory-correct color has a high-gloss finish that
appears all original. The light rolls smoothly across this slippery
design thanks to the exceptional condition of the fiberglass and
careful ownership. You can see more evidence of its treasured life
in the well-maintained chin spoiler, convex rear bumper, and the
bright sawblade factory wheels.
Inside, this proves it's a red-blooded American machine with the
factory red leather interior. Low mileage means little seat time,
which is why this one remains looking excellent. So while the sale
comes with both the color-matched targa top and optional tinted
glass panel, your favorite way to show this one off will likely be
no roof at all. This is a sports car that's all about the driver.
So you'll love the leather-wrapped steering wheel, bright mix of
digital and analog gauges, and the six-speed gearshift that
perfectly falls to your right hand. But there are also plenty more
features in this ZR-1. This includes power windows, power locks,
keyless entry, power steering, cruise control, power seats, and an
AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo with Bose speakers. You even have
provisions for automatic climate control with R134a air
conditioning (will need servicing to blow ideally cold.)
That special LT5 engine is still as amazing today as it was when it
debuted. The engine bay looks like a technical marvel with the
special cam cover for the fuel-injected 5.7-liter 32-valve V8. The
separate power key is always a cool feature to unleash the full 375
hp. And more than just powerful, the multi-valve nature made them
quick in all situations. So no matter if you're getting started
from a stoplight or would like to enter triple-digit speeds, this
Corvette loves to pull hard. Chevy really made this an all-around
great anytime machine. The adjustable fully independent suspension
is perfect for performance driving, and it also rides well enough
to make this a grand tourer on the days when you don't want it to
handle like a racetrack king. Plus, the limited slip rear end,
powerful four-wheel disc brakes, and wide Goodyear Eagle F1 tires
are great for all-round control.
This ZR-1 is a true classic that has been preserved correctly (and
yes, that is the A-Team color combo, too.) It all makes for a
package where the King of the Hill Corvette is also the King of
Cool. Call today!!!
