Vehicle Description
What makes a 4x4 awesome is all the custom work that goes into it
to deliver a true go-anywhere machine. So look over the full
pictures and info on this 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rocky Mountain
Edition. It has a well-coordinated presentation to balance a modern
fuel-injected vehicle with the best in off-road ruggedness.
Jeep created a Rocky Mountain Edition as more of an appearance
package with color-matched items. But this custom example makes big
investments so that it can traverse the great heights that its name
suggests. It starts with the beefy ARB front bumper that has IPF
spotlights, tow hooks, and a winch integrated into the setup. Along
the side are wider fender flares, tubular rocker steps, and beefy
15-inch Eagle Alloy off-road wheels. The rear has another ARB
bumper upgrade, and this helps add handy features like the larger
full-size spare and the kind of HD jack that can really get you out
of trouble. Plus, more tow hooks and proper tow hitch with wiring
plug mean bringing everything along with you. More than just all
the upgrades, this one also still lives up to its special edition
appearance by being quite handsome with the bumpers and fenders
color-matched to the slick black paint.
This is a modern Jeep, and so that means plenty of useful modern
conveniences. You get a black full soft top that allows you to
choose between fully buttoned-up or multiple levels of open to the
world. There are other great features, like dual airbags, a tilt
steering column, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth. With
this loaded Wrangler, there's still room for improvement. That's
why the bucket seats were upgraded to new units with outstanding
bolstering and finished in a comfy velour. The rear now is now a
large diamond plate storage box that helps keep all your equipment
in the Jeep no matter how rough the trail gets.
Under the hood, the original hardy 4.0-liter fuel-injected motor
gets to inhale deeper with a K&N cold air intake and Airaid
Poweraid throttle body spacer. You get full control over this with
the six-speed manual transmission. As you look underneath, it's
instantly recognizable that there were more big investments in this
Wrangler. It's on a lifted 4x4 suspension that now features ARB Old
Man Emu shocks, Toyo Open Country M/T tires, and air locking diffs
front and rear. But a true go-anywhere Jeep is also comfortable
in-town, too. That's why you have nice features like power steering
and power brakes w/discs up front. And there's an overall solid
feeling here that comes from a well-maintained low-mileage
machine.
The sale comes complete with maintenance records and the owner's
manual. This is the Rocky Mountain Edition that can truly live up
to its name. So if you like the capability of a good all-around
Jeep, you're going to love this one. Call now!
