1987 Toyota long bed, 1 ton (single rear wheel). 22re fuel injected 4cyl, 5 speed. Power steering, Factory air conditioning, aftermarket stereo.

Also have the factory Repair Manual, a Chiltons and many extra parts. The transmission is the original. Everything works on the truck. No leaks.
This is a very dependable small work truck with a large weight capacity of 2,566lbs and tow capacity of 5,000lbs. This was a year that had some models built in the USA and others built in Japan. This is one of the rare Japanese models, as evidenced by the rolled exterior truck bed. USA models of this year had straight sides.
This 1 ton truck mainly differs from the 1/2 ton in that it has a beefed up rear axle, axle housing assy., differential, bearings and rear suspension. It also has larger brake drums and pads.
Good Firestone Transforce HT(load range D) tires, which are great for loads, but make the truck ride a little stiffer than it already does with the heavy duty suspension.
The paint is original, the body is pretty darn straight, but not showroom. There are chips and dings, with the worst being the lower rear quarter panels on both sides of the truck bed. There is surface rust in a couple areas on the body, barely showing through the paint, but there is almost no rust on the frame or anywhere else.
The interior is very clean, with bucket seats from a '90 4runner and custom center console. Vinyl flooring is in good shape. Factory air conditioning blows real cold. The bad on the interior is that like most Toyota of this generation, the dash has cracked. There is a carpet type dash cover that I got and comes with the truck, but I never used it. The drivers seat has a quite noticeable hole on the edge nearest the door. I used seat covers so never re-upholstered.
Good work shell and bed liner. Bed is in good shape under liner. I lost the liner part for the tailgate, but it is not beat up.
