Vehicle Description
The 2008 Ford Mustang Roush 428R is a rare specialty speed machine,
and while that will always have appeal, this one ups the game even
further. It's not only a low-mileage midnight hero, but there have
also there has been work done after the Roush to added even more
ponies to the supercharged V8.

This one has always been treated with the care and respect an
exceptional pony deserves. The factory black paint looks great. It
has a glossy metallic glow in the sunshine, and the more light that
hits the body, the more you also pick up on the cool matted black
stripe package. What also adds to this aggression is matched Roush
full body kit that includes the Roush front fascia, black high-flow
grille, deep chin spoiler, and full-width rear wing. But more than
just dark aggression, even the brightwork is intimidating, too. You
see it in places like the 428 center cap in the rear and 18-inch
Roush cast chrome alloys. And yes, we didn't forget about the
"Roushcharged" hood scoop. That hints at the beast within (more on
that in a moment.)

Low mileage means the leather interior continues to look fantastic.
You get all the best features, like cold-blowing air conditioning,
power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, keyless
entry/alarm, power steering, cruise control, tilt steering column,
ABS, dual front airbags, side airbags, and the premium Shaker 500
AM/FM stereo with CD changer. But all of that is already part of
the factory's upscale experience. Buying the special Roush coupe is
really about cool performance-ready upgrades. This includes
additions like the Roush short-throw shifter, Roush white-faced
gauges, and an auxiliary readout trio that puts the important info
right at the top of the dash for an easy line of sight. Your
seating has been upgraded to have Jack Roush's signature in custom
embroidered inserts. And there's Jack Roush's actual signature on
the passenger side dashboard. It identifies this as #100 of the
very short 200-example run.

While this Mustang looks amazing inside and out, it's the full
mechanical upgrade that will make you fall love/lust. Ford's
excellent fuel-injected OHC 4.6-liter V8 is a stout setup that's
ideal for the supercharger. And since they knew you'd want to show
this off everywhere, the special Roushcharged has a chrome powder
coat to radiate whenever the hood is raised. While that's already
delivers awesome performance, this one has been upgraded further.
It has a Steeda cold air intake, Ford racing 65mm throttle body,
custom camshaft, an upgraded pulley for more supercharger boost,
and custom tune for this custom package. The latest dyno sheet has
this at 452 horsepower, and there are other pulls that get it even
higher! The BBK long tube headers allow the enhanced V8 to exhale
freely to the X-pipe dual exhaust with sweet rumbling Borla
mufflers. This kind of power needs the best control. That's why the
package also comes with Roush's suspension system that includes
shock tower bracing, front struts, rear shocks, front & rear
springs, front & rear sway bars, and pinion snubbers. Add this to
great performance driving features like five-speed manual
transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, super-sticky Michelin tires
(with cool with letter graphics), and you can see how this is truly
a great anytime/anywhere performance machine.

maintenance records. Plus, there are nice extras like a car cover,
