this original southern California 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 6 spd
Coupe with original factory 'Black' exterior paint with black
leather interior and with only 9K (yes, nine thousand!) original
miles! With the Millenium celebrations over the Z06 continued for
only it's second year as a lighter, stiffer and more powerful
version from the regular Corvette. The massive 5.7-liter V-8 LS6
engine puts out 405 horsepower making it the most powerful 350 ever
and redlines 500 rpm higher than a regular Corvette at 6500 rpm and
makes its torque higher in the rev range. The Z06's six-speed trans
axle is unique with slightly shorter gearing (except in fourth). A
titanium exhaust, thinner glass and conventional (not run-flat)
'Goodyear Eagle' Supercar tires, on albeit wider wheels than a
regular Vette, with a puncture repair kit included in lieu of a
spare, are the key Z06 weight-saving initiatives and in 2002 the
Corvette was chosen to pace the Indy 500 for only the 5th time.
Exterior Z06 colors were limited to Black or Red. Owned by only two
southern California owners since new, reportedly always garaged
with no accident or damage history and with a clean Carfax report -
always owned and driven by only two mature owners since new - never
abused - babied all the way! The original factory Black paint is in
good condition with only very minor imperfections only noticeable
upon very close inspection. The black leather interior is also in
quite exceptional condition throughout with virtually no signs of
wear. The car has a matching leather wrapped steering wheel and
every option works as it should including the ice-cold A/C. This
particular model drives and looks as good as new - the engine is
extremely strong and responsive and the temperature always remains
cool. You will look long and hard to find a lower mileage example
