Great Chevelle muscle car without spending a lot of money! Clean,
right out of Tennessee. I personally drove it a couple days and
loved it.
EXTERIOR: Very clean and dry body. Bottom of the fenders are clean,
the bottom door lip is dry. Smooth along the whole bottom, no
bubbles. The doors, hood and trunk fit square and flush. Overall
the paint shows very nicely. Outside on a sunny day it looks as
good as any car, under our intense lights in the studio you may
find minor imperfections. It also has white 1970s style stripes
painted on the hood and trunk, no vinyl top. The bumpers have been
rechromed, emblems, bowtie mirrors, door handles and tail lights
look new. It has a great muscle car stance, sits proud. New vintage
style chrome 15 inch Cragar wheels with new Cooper tires, little
bit fatter in the back. All the glass is nice and clear, side
windows fit very nicely. Door jambs are painted glossy,
weatherstrips and sill plates have been replaced.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is exceptionally nice. Starting on the
floor the carpet looks new, has the Hurst 4-speed with the proper
boot and bezel. The upholstery has been redone on the seats. Door
panels and armrests are new reproduction. The headliner and the
visors are excellent, dome light works. In back the speaker tray
and trim is excellent. The instrument panel area is really nice,
the lenses, plastic trim, heater control panel all look excellent.
A retro stereo that fits in the factory hole, has 6x9 speakers in
back. It is upgraded with a walnut steering wheel and tach and
gauges mounted under the dash. The dash pad is excellent. Has
original GM seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 383 stroker motor runs strong. Has a polished
high rise aluminum intake with a Holley carburetor that has an
electric choke. Has HEI ignition system and a set of headers. The
alternator and bracket are chrome. Features include power steering
and brakes. The engine bay is very clean and tidy- painted neatly,
wiring is run cleanly. Under the hood is painted black, has new
insulation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid clean original metal trunk. I looked with
a flashlight, there's no seams or splices. It has a nice spatter
finish paint. The bottom of the trunk lid and jambs are painted
nicely, the weatherstrip looks new.
UNDERSIDE: The front end was rebuilt. Balljoints, bushings, tie rod
ends, shocks and springs look recent. In back the springs and air
shocks look recent. Looking up at the motor it is clean, starter
and fuel pump look new. The Muncie 4-speed and linkage look fresh.
Driveshaft and u-joints look recent. Has 10 bolt rear. Brakes were
redone, disc in front. E-brake cables are hooked up. Recent
Flowmaster exhaust system goes out the back with cowbelltips,
sounds great. Fuel tank looks new. The floors, braces, inner
rockers look original and solid.
What I like is it is a muscle car that you can cruise. It had no
problem taking off like a slingshot but when clicked into 4th gears
it cruised effortlessly.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
