For Sale: 1952 Chevrolet Bel Air in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1952 Chevrolet BelAir

The tri five BelAirs may get a lot of press but arguably the BelAir with the most classic style has to go to the 1952. These cars just had that 50's look. Rounded fenders, lots of chrome, and that classic styling that makes you feel nostalgic. This 1952 Chevrolet BelAir is absolutely beautiful in and out. The car has been completely restored and has only racked up 12,178 miles since completion. The car was not restored to original in the typical sense of the phrase but was restored with vintage hot rodding in mind. It is truly amazing how well this car shines and one look at the Bittersweet/White two tone paint in person and you will think it was just repainted yesterday. All of the original chrome and stainless work is in place and in like new condition. It has one piece California bumpers that have a beautiful finish. With the restoration all new side glass was installed as well as a 1950 Oldsmobile 1 piece windshield and a 2 speed electric wiper to keep it clean. LED taillights were installed in the rear and all of the lenses are in good shape. On the doors Fatties convex mirrors were added and look right at home. The car has a perfect stance and the side profile is something you just can't beat. The chrome reverse wheels with Impala/Corvette dog dish hubcaps tuck just the right amount under the rear fenders to give it a nice look while still showing off those new Diamondback radial wide whitewall tires.

As mentioned before the car wasn't put back in its stock original state but it wasn't just some thrown together resto mod either. If that was the case you would find a boring 350 under the hood instead of the brand new professionally rebuilt tri power 348 Chevrolet V8. It is equipped with MSD ignition and a 6A box. This motor runs extremely well and sounds as good as it looks with the completely new exhaust by Kenny's. Pop the hood and you will find the engine compartment is like a work of art. The firewall has been recessed and completely smoothed out to allow plenty of clearance for both the motor and new AutoRad radiator with core support, dual electric fans, shroud and overflow tank. In stop and go traffic with the AC blasting the car still runs cool and even includes a custom built radiator bug screen to keep the system clean. The valve covers and tri-power intake manifold have been powder coated a metallic silver that not only looks great, but will provide for easier cleaning in the future. The belts utilize a black anodized Billet Specialties Tru Trac system for AC and power steering. It has also been fitted with a new 140amp alternator. Continuing down the drivetrain you will find a new Phoenix 700r4 with lockup controller, new drive shaft, and new narrowed 9 inch Ford rear end with 28 spline Strange axles. New disc brakes were added up front with rebuilt drums in the rear. A Heidts Mustang II Independent front suspension was added to the car and comes complete with a power rack and pinion steering system and dropped spindles. It also has Heidt front/rear sway bars and rear air shocks for a smooth ride. Other nice feature for added safety is the EStopp electric emergency/parking brake system which works perfectly.

The interior is just as beautifully done as the rest and provides the perfect combination of vintage and modern styling. The dash is painted the same as the body but was custom made from a 1955 Chevrolet dash. A new wiring harness was installed throughout so all of the electrical from the headlights to the new AM/FM/MP3 stereo is working properly. Classic Instruments white faced gauges sit in front of the driver and sit nicely in the stock style 55 dash. An Ididit steering column was added and is topped off by a reduced diameter 1958-1960 Impala style steering wheel. All of the upholstery work is new from the seats to the carpets and prior to being completed Dynamat was installed throughout. The trunk is nicely done as well and houses the relocated Optima battery and a spare Chrome reverse wheel/tire. Literally, there are so many high end components associated with this build that I am confident we have overlooked many of them. But you should certainly have a sense of the extent and quality of the work done. The car needs nothing but a new loving owner.

Check this car out in person and there is no way you will want to go home without it. The fit and finish is second to none.

You couldn't replicate this beauty for our asking price of $47,500.00!
