1965 Corvette Coupe Original California Survivor - Garage Find
I purchased this car 13 years ago from an estate sale of the original owner. The car was kept by this one owner its entire life in California until my purchase. Lots of originality and documented paperwork. The milage is currently unknown as the odometer was not working when I bought it but reads 55,624. 327 250 HP 3 speed. They only made 404 of the 3-speeds in 65. The car wears mostly it's original paint with some touch ups. The interior is all original except for the front carpet. The drivetrain is numbers matching. The car is a blast to drive. Runs and starts as it should as it's never been apart and tracks straight as an arrow. The original born with black plates are still on the car and it is currently still registered in California. I have the original bill of sale, cleared check, protect-o-plate, owners manual, keys, service papers, registration papers and to top it off.... the original Pink Slip. There are a few blems, see the passenger rear and passenger front images. It is just a fantastic original car that could be used as is or a great candidate for a restoration. If it was up to me I'd keep it original and enjoy driving it as I did.
