With supercar performance, yet all the practicality and reliability
of a daily driver, modern iterations of the Porsche 911 Turbo offer
enthusiasts the best of both worlds. For the facelifted
997.2-generation of the 911, if the base Turbo was not enough, the
Turbo S took that formula one step further. As standard, these cars
were exceptionally well equipped, and all were fitted with
Porsche's PDK transmission, carbon ceramic brakes, and Sport Chrono
package. The engine was tuned to provide 523 hp, some 30 more than
the standard 911 Turbo. Acceleration from 0-60 mph was quoted at
3.1 seconds and lead to a top speed just shy of 200 mph.
Finished in Black paintwork over a black leather interior and
matching black convertible top, this 911 Turbo S cabriolet was
exceptionally well optioned by its first and only owner. Notably,
it features the 19-inch 911 Turbo II wheels, heated and ventilated
Comfort seats with the Porsche crest embossed in the headrests,
heated multi-function steering wheel, illuminated door sills, and
clear taillights. This example has been well preserved and
maintained since new and has been driven no more than 7,400 miles
throughout its life.
With less than 2,100 997.2 Turbo S cabriolets built worldwide,
these are among the rarest of the regular-production
997-generation. Even eight years after leaving Porsche's facilities
in Stuttgart, these 911s continue to provide incredible performance
and can handily keep up with today's crop of supercars. Finished in
a stunning black over black, this low-mileage example surely will
not disappoint.
