Mr. Albert Kishbaugh purchased this beautiful final year 1989
Mercedes-Benz 560SL new from Price Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington,
Delaware. This was to be a weekend cruiser that lived a pampered
life and "never driven in the rain". Mr. Kishbaugh was the near
lifelone caretaker for nearly 30 years, from new-2018. In a phone
interview with Mr. Kishbaugh he stated that the car stayed at his
lake house and he took the best car of it driving about once a
month and kept it in an air-conditioned garage. When he decided to
sell the car in 2018, he drove it to a dealer and got caught in a
construction sudden stop which cause a front fender bender. He
drove the car away and it was repaired as-new before he sold it.
This is noted on the Carfax report. Continuous service records are
on file documenting regular services throughout its life including
a detailed mileage log maintained by Mr. Kishbaugh.
The fit and finish throughout is as one would expect from a low
mileage well cared for example.
