2009 Mercedes Benz GL450
This Mercedes was purchased off lease back in 2011 with about 20K miles on the clock. It now has 173,000 miles, however, those miles have been rather easy on this SUV. Although driven a lot, the car has been very well maintained with oil changes and regular services being performed at the 5000 mile mark or less.
Within the last two years most of the active/adaptive suspension has been replaced, including the air bags, compressor, all the lines and shock absorbers (hard parts like A-arms were not replaced). Within the last month several emission pieces were also replaced including the charcoal canister. The SUV runs and drives very well. The 4.6 L V8 pushes out 335 HP through a 7 speed auto transmission (via paddle shifters on the steering wheel) to Mercedes patented 4-Matic AWD system.
It's big and luxurious and has more amenities than some small homes. To list just a few...
Full leather interior; heated and cooled, 10 way power adjustable seats (F), heated adjustable seats in the rear; third row seating that fold down with the flip of a switch; panoramic glass roof; DVD/Bluetooth/SatNav system (with two rear screens); back up camera; adaptive suspension; turning lights; active headlights; heated steering wheel that of course tilts and telescopes; multi-area climate control; towing package; running boards; 20" Pirelli Scorpians wrapped around the premium aluminum wheel; auto dimming lights and mirrors; etc.; etc....
The driver's seat bolster has seen better days, 173K miles means a lot of in and out... and a small crack on the lower, rear valance where the owner failed to check his back up camera and gently nudged one of his trucks, cracking the plastic bumper cover/valence.
This is just a great driving SUV ready for many more miles.
Asking price is just $11,500 for a vehicle that listed for over $70K when new.
