Vehicle Description
This 2002 Chevrolet Corvette has a sharp-looking color combo and
the right speedy-looking upgrades, so it makes a terrific first
impression. But what really makes this an irresistible coupe is the
over $40k invested in upgraded the performance - including a
supercharger and methanol injection - to create a 750-horsepower
juggernaut.
Quicksilver is both the name of the factory paint and the attitude
this one projects. It has a nice metallic element that radiates in
the sunshine. So it really loves to show off the wave-like curves
of the C5's sleek body. Plus, there's a subtle gray pinstripe
running the full length of the car to highlight the sporty profile
even further. This color was well-chosen, because it looks great
with the hint of dark side the exterior likes to show off with the
upgraded tinted features that include the front turning lamps,
taillights, and windows. The targa top coordinates with this, too.
And of course, you immediately take note of the black Z06-style
wheels. The total effect is a clean and sleek Corvette that also
announces it's something special.
Inside, the gray and black interior has an inviting look. The
leather buckets power adjust to strike a nice balance between
sports car snug and all-day comfortable. C5 Corvettes come loaded
right out of the box, and this one has plenty of great modern
features. It includes a Bose premium AMFM/CD stereo,
leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual airbags, power windows, power
locks, keyless entry, power steering, and dual zone automatic
climate control. And this also has the desirable head-up display.
There's a real trunk in the C5, which means it can stow the targa
top and extra luggage. But those are all the virtues of a factory
C5 Corvette. As you look around the interior, there are also
readouts on the A-pillar and center console that hint at the
well-upgraded performance package.
The fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is already a legend for power
and robustness, but if you look closely at this engine bay, you're
going to notice that this is one will can outpace them all. We have
a spec sheet documenting over $40,000 worth of performance upgrades
on this V8. It includes a ProCharger D-1SC supercharger with twin
intercoolers, 8-rib belt system, and ProCharger's big red blow-off
valve. Plus, the rest of the motor has been enhanced and fortified
for supercharger duty. It includes a BBK 81 MM throttle body,
80-lb. injectors, Texas Speed blower camshaft, Harland Sharp roller
rockers, Comp Cams pushrods, upgraded motor mounts, and a Dewitts
racing radiator with high-speed fans. Plus, the Alky Injection
methanol kit cools/concentrates the fuel intake and really adds
power. This mighty motor exhales with serious authority as Billy
Boat long tube headers feed the Billy Boat X-pipe exhaust. This
full package is estimated at a street-eating 750 horsepower! Making
sure the power gets to the ground is a fortified RPM four-speed
automatic transmission with 3300 stall, and that feeds a reinforced
3.31 rear end. The suspension includes Bilstein race shocks, an
adjustable lowering kit, and Z06 front & rear sway bars. There's
plenty of grip with Mickey Thompson drag radials on the rear and
drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the slick Corvette that's built with a serious power
package. It'll be hard to find anything this awesome at twice the
price, so don't miss this monster 'Vette. Call today!!!
