1981 Chevrolet Scottsdale C10 Step Side Pick-Up
This beautiful truck is being offered for sale, after more than 39 years, by the original owner. It has a little over 44,000 km on the odometer (27,000 miles). It still retains its original black paint and the doe skin interior is mostly original as well. It was ordered from Myers Motors in Ottawa Ontario on March 17th 1981 and delivered on June 1st. Options requested at time of purchase were V8 engine, bucket seats, 4 speed transmission, full instrumentation including tachometer, power steering, sliding rear window, full carpeting, radio delete plate and chrome bumpers. The original bill of sale and sales brochure come with the truck as well as all maintenance records. The original spare is still mounted in the box. This vehicle has not only never been winter driven, but also has never been driven on a dirt road and has rarely seen rain. It is stored indoors at all times.
Modifications to this truck include; suspension lowering with Bell Tech dropped spindles and shackles, custom dual exhaust, Cragar SS wheels, 6x15 front 8x15 rear, BF Goodrich tires, 215x70 front 255x70 rear, custom tonneau cover, front tube grill with 1955 Chevy emblem, custom head light bezels and banjo style steering wheel. All original parts such as the wheels, spindles, hubcaps, steering wheel and grill that were removed have been retained and will come with the truck.
This unrestored, all original truck is not perfect but rather a very good survivor. It has some nicks and scratches but continues to show very well. It is my hope that its next owner will care for and enjoy it as much as I have. Asking price is $24,900.00
