A beautiful addition to our inventory of classic Triumph sports
cars is this 1975 TR6. The TR6 was the last of the line of
Triumph's classic body on frame construction open sports cars. For
great value in a classic British roadster, the TR6 is hard to beat.
These are terrific cars to drive. Its nimble handling is enhanced
by a combination of factors including independent suspension at all
four corners which is very rare in car from this era at this price.
The sophisticated suspension is aided by an anti-roll bar and quick
rack and pinion steering. With a weight under 2500 pounds, the
result is a driver's car that handles well over a variety of road
surfaces yet still delivers a comfortable ride. Its dual carburetor
2.5 liter inline six easily powers it to run with modern traffic
and under acceleration produces a wonderful sound that is unique to
the inline six, a most naturally balanced engine short of a V12.
This particular TR6 is a great example of the breed. It has just
received new professional quality paint over an excellent rust free
body. Underneath, the frame is solid including the weaker rear
sections that are often prone to rust. To complete the beautiful
exterior, we've installed new stainless steel early style bumpers
to replace the very unattractive late style with their oversized
rubber bumper guards. Moving inside, the striking light tan
interior contrasts beautifully against the British Racing Green
paint versus the more common black interiors. Plus the interior is
all in great shape. For your driving safety, there's also a well
installed roll bar. Lastly, to top (pun intended) things off is a
great top in virtually new condition. Mechanically, it starts,
runs, drives, and stops quite well. The engine has excellent oil
pressure and runs at normal temperatures without any smoke. The
clutch is smooth, the gearbox shifts as it should. In short, this
car is road ready. We cordially invite you to inspect and drive
