1965, this BODY-OFF RESTORED 1966 Corvette 427/390hp Convertible is
LOADED with features, including an added 5 speed manual overdrive
transmission, Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection, Vintage Air
a/c, side exhaust, knockoff style wheels, and more, and is in nice
condition as well. This car's paint is good-vg, with a great shine.
Convertible top looks to be recent, and is vg-exc. All exterior
glass in this car show a correct date code. Front chrome bumpers
are good-vg, with rears showing a vg finish. Exterior door handles,
taillights, and weaterstripping are all vg-exc. Knockoff style
wheels and associated spinners are vg-exc, and Michelin Defender
radial tires with added Redlines show an average of 10/32nds tread
depth remaining. The interior of this 1966 Corvette 427/390hp
Convertible shows very recent looking exc leather seats, door
panels, carpet, gauges, teakwood steering wheel, and dash pods, and
vg-exc seatbelts, shift plate, and glovebox lid. Correct appearing
AM/FM radio is in place. The numbers matching L36 engine in this
car shows original casting date September 2, 1965, and final
assembly date September 14, 1965. Correct air cleaner, valve
covers, spark plug wires, ignition shielding, radiator hoses, and
hose clamps are all in place. Additions to this engine include
Holley Sniper EFI, Edelbrock Torker II 2.0 aluminum intake
manifold, aluminum water pump, high torque mini starter, faux
maintenance battery cap, and a gloss black frame, which is solid
and rust-free. It's very uncommon to find all of these features
together on a '66 Corvette, as well as modern fuel injection and a
