The 7th generation Series 62 Cadillac was known for annual styling changes, with the 1963 version imparting a longer and bolder look.  The hood and deck lids were redesigned and the front fenders projected more than 4 inches further forward than the previous model year.  The tailfins were trimmed down for a lower profile and body sculpting was eliminated.  Cadillac was at the top of the luxury car market in America and model year 1963 helped it stay there.  With 143 different options available, these cars were highly individualized to specific owner tastes.
