The fourth-generation Wrangler was unveiled in late 2017 for the
2018 model year. The JL features a host of new features including:
additional powertrains over the Pentastar V6, a redesigned
transmission, easier fold-flat windshield, new zipperless soft
tops, and a more modern interior. Powertrains for the 2018 model
included an 2.0L Turbo I4 and a 3.6L Pentastar V6 gasoline engines
and also 2.2 I4 Turbodiesel in Europe.
