Wow, it's my first time seeing this car and what a looker. Really
slick red with a matching red interior. Has a nice stance with wide
GT wheels.
EXTERIOR: The body is fantastic. Really, it is about the best I've
seen. The gaps are precise, everything fits square and flush. You
can shut the doors with your pinky. Asolutely straight too. Rangoon
red paint is polished out like glass. Door jambs are painted slick.
The chrome and trim looks new. Up in front it has new GT fog lamps,
bumper, grill and emblems. New emblems on each side, stainless trim
around the windows is excellent. In back the taillights, gas cap
and bumper are new. Has the GT exhaust through the valance. New
windshield and weather strips. Brand new shiny chrome GT wheels
with red centers and wider then original. New BF Goodrich white
letter tires.
INTERIOR: Looks great with a matching red interior. Overall it's in
very nice shape. The upholstery, carpet and door panels were
replaced. Good original full length center console. New
reproduction pony floor mats. The dash pad and chrome instrument
bezel is new. Overhead it has a white headliner and visors, in
excellent shape. The side panels and trim in the rear compartment
is very nice. Has fold down rear seat. The previous owner bought
and mounted a rally pac (tachometer and clock), it is not hooked
up. Wiring harness is in the glovebox. The factory radio whole is
uncut, there is no radio installed. Interior lights work. Has
upgraded walnut steering wheel. The 4-speed shifter is the correct
type with reverse lock out and correct knob.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a 289 with some performance upgrades-
Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke, new
MSD electronic ignition system and it has a set of long tube coated
headers. Everything in the motor compartment looks fresh. The metal
is real smooth and clean, painted satin black. The motor is dressed
up with some Mustang finned aluminum valve covers. Under the hood
and the jamb is painted gloos red, fender bolts are cadmium
plated.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Restored, solid metal with gray and white
spatter finish. New plaid liner kit with tire cover and bag for a
jack. Under the trunk lid and jamb is painted glossy, new
weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Appears to be very solid, nice frame rails. New front
sway bar. Bottom of the motor and 4-speed trans is clean. Starter,
fuel pump, u-joints, shocks look new. Has new dual exhaust system.
E-brake is hooked up.
I know I call a lot of cars straight and say they fit nice. This
one tops them all. It's that good. Very sharp looking fastback,
ready to shift gears and turn heads!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
