Real Road Runner with original fender tag. Factory born 4-speed
car. Has a folder with 10s of thousands of dollars in receipts. My
son manages the shop and twice mentioned what a good car it is.
EXTERIOR: Repainted it's original light green metallic color. The
body appears to be really clean, dry metal. The panels fit square.
The paint has a clear coat finish that is very glossy. Jambs are
painted real nice The bumpers are rechromed. The grill, stainless
trim, tail panel are good original. The weatherstrips were
replaced. Windshield looks new. New vintage style Keystone chrome
wheels.
INTERIOR: Inside the car has been restored nicely. The seats have
been reupholstered. Replaced door panels, armrests and the chrome
bases. New dash pad, the instrument panel area is very nice. It
does have an upgraded modern stereo and a cushion grip steering
wheel. What really makes it cool is the Hurst shifter on the floor
with a billet pistol grip handle. Also has new carpet and Road
Runner floor mats. Headliner is excellent, no wrinkles. Visors and
mirror are excellent. Dome light works. Has seat belts front and
back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 383 motor with an aluminum intake,
giant dual feed Holley carb that also has an electric choke and a
set of Thorley headers. Dressed up with old school M/T finned
aluminum valve covers. The engine bay has really clean metal. Clean
factory seams and spotwelds. No signs of rust or damage. Has
original trim tag in place which decodes properly to this car. The
# on the core support matches the trim tag. Engine bay, under the
hood is painted real nice. It has new hood installation. Features
power steering
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Real solid trunk floor. Lined in sound deadener.
Inner 1/4s look original, not cut. New trunk mat, bottom of the lid
and jamb are painted nice, weatherstrip is new. The trunk light
works. Has a new tire for a spare and a painted rim, also includes
the jack and service manual.
UNDERSIDE: Completely solid, original metal floors. Smooth with dry
factory seams. Front end looks like it has been gone through.
Balljoints and bushings look recent. New shocks front and back. New
dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel system
including tank, straps, sending unit and lines.
Good honest car. Looks great and feels great. The motor runs
perfectly smooth and quiet but makes great sound out the tailpipes.
The Road Runner "beep beep" horn works. That and the pistol grip
shifter make it all worth while!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
