This luxurious model was the last of the hand-built Mercedes. Only 13 cars per week rolled off the production line. These cabriolets and coupes are true classics. Unlike other automobiles, these cars were classics the day they rolled off the production line and have remained so ever since. This 280 SE comes from a large Mercedes collection where it has been serviced when and where needed. The 280 has a very solid shell and drives accordingly with a smooth ride. As with many of the hand-built Mercedes Benz’s of this era, this rare 280 would benefit from some further mechanical and cosmetic maintenance and would make for an excellent driving touring car.
