Vehicle Description
This classic, elegant, early LHD 1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow has
been very well preserved -nearly fully restored, is in great
driving condition, and now for sale in. Its owners of 30 years are
Rolls/Bentley collectors, show judges, and vintage auto appraisers
who've been members of the RROC for 40+ years. Purchased in 1989
with approx. 23,000 miles, this Silver Shadow has had regular usage
as well as nearly a full restoration since -at a cost over $40,000.
The engine, interior, hydraulics, brakes, and paint have all been
professionally redone over the past 30 yrs./16,000 miles, with only
about 500 miles on the engine rebuild. Currently showing under
39,000 original miles. The current owner has known and personally
driven this Rolls at least 12 times in the past 8 years, it has
always been a very smooth, solid, powerful and well-driving car,
with all systems in good working order. In Sept. 2019 the brakes
were fully redone with new master cylinder, fluid flush, and a full
tune-up was done, she runs and drives wonderfully -and is now ready
for a new owner to enjoy. The full engine rebuild was done in 2008
at 38,340 at over $15,000. A new 4-row radiator was installed in
2006, and hoses, shocks, starter motor, brake calipers, hydraulic
lines, were all replaced around that time as well. The alternator,
accumulators, fuel pump, and various switches, etc. also rebuilt or
replaced. The aluminum rear cross-member was replaced with the
stronger/later version with HD bolts. Request/see photo list of
repairs. The entire interior was professionally redone in 2008 with
beautiful grey Genuine Connelly leather throughout, as well as new
carpet, and door panels. Nearly all of the interior wood was also
stripped and refinished, all is in excellent (near-new) condition.
All gauges, interior and exterior lights work as they should. The
exterior was professionally repainted after a full strip-down about
15 yrs. ago. The elegant classic 2-tone cream/grey does shine well.
