Vehicle Description
This is a 1970 Ford Bronco Rock Crawler. The following information
is from best recollection from 9 years ago when this vehicle was
placed into storage by the current owner. It is equipped with a
1990 Crown Victoria port fuel injected 302 (totally stock) with
frame rail mounted electric fuel pump and in line filter, 1973
Bronco C4 transmission with forced air transmission cooler mounted
on the inner fender, B&M 'Megashifter' ratchet style lock-out
shifter, Dana 20 transfer case with twin stick modification (front
axle detent was retained so it doesn't allow front axle only
capability, but does provide 2 wheel low range), front axle is a
Dana 44 from a 74 Bronco with 32 spline axles Detroit locker and
4.56 gears, rear axle is a Ford 9' from a 1972 Bronco with 31
spline axles Detroit locker and 4.56 gears, BF Goodrich 33' Mud
Terrain Baja Champion tires with excellent tread and no sidewall
damage, first gen Bronco heavy duty power steering conversion kit
for rock crawling, featuring an F-350 gearbox, tie rod over kit (to
raise the tie rod for clearance) made of DOM tubing with Chevrolet
1 ton tie rod ends, 90 amp alternator, 9000 lb Warn winch, Tom
Woody extended rear drive line, 5' lift from Tom's Bronco parts, 2'
body lift, 2x7 reinforced steel rock skis under each door, 6 point
roll cage, BestTop brand soft top with fiberglass door inserts,
Herculiner coating throughout the floor pans, Hi-Lift jack, CO2
tank, regulator hose, tire chuck, and a spare tire carrier swings
on a � ton bearing so it can be tightened without having the
carrier drop when opened. You will need to do a complete fluid
change and tune-up. Old gas has been purged and fresh gas in the
