This sleek 1950 Ford Custom 2-Door Sedan features a Ford 6 cylinder flat head, the best Henry ever built.
It underwent a sympathetic body-on restoration, where everything was restored to its original condition. The chrome is perfect, as is the striking paint. The glass and weather-stripping are excellent.
The gray broadcloth interior and headliner are flawless. All gauges, including the radio, are in proper working order, and there are a heater, clock and visor.

The owner installed blue dot tail lights, curb feelers and even a compass and sight glass to see beyond the metal visor. In the center of the grill, there is a light that turns with the wheels, like on a 1940s Tucker. We haven’t seen that before on a Ford Custom.
There are 5 bias-ply whitewalls that appear to be new. In fact, the tire in the trunk still has the sticker in place. It also comes with the original jack and tools.
This vintage Ford recently came out of a heated storage area where it had been kept since its owner passed away 2 years ago. A battery tender has kept the battery charged, and the upholstery was covered (although it did not need to be), as was the car. It’s easy to see that it has been kept in excellent condition.
This 1950 Ford Custom drives great, and we couldn’t find anything needing to be done. It is sure to please the next owner and win awards wherever it’s shown.
