1925 Pierce-Arrow Series 33
Dual-Valve Six Four Door 5 Passenger Sedan

No provenance is available as the owner has misplaced any and all records.  Title is clear.  This is what the current owner recalls.  “Owned for 2 years.  Previous owner restored it 6 years ago. The car starts and drives. and is in very good condition.  It was last driven in June 2019 and has been stored uncovered in an unheated barn since.”

Inspected and professionally appraised Feb. 15, 2020 and reported the following:

The body is in very good condition. I did not see any dents. dings. or noticeable damage.

Paint is in excellent condition with the exception of a few spots where there is some bubbling and hairline cracks around the rear window.

Hardware on this car is in excellent condition.   The radiator shell and most other bright work was solid German Silver.. The handles. window cranks. courtesy lights. grab straps. flower vases. rear view mirror. grab handles. light switches. Mahogany trim all look great.

All locks, including ignition, hood, spare tire, doors, glove boxes, and storage compartments were keyed the same.

The dash is in excellent condition.  All the gauges and switches work.  Two large locking glove boxes were provided in the instrument panel

The walnut steering wheel is in exceptional condition.

The upholstery is in good condition overall. but has some small “moth like” holes and shows a bit of wear.

Glass is in excellent condition including window. windshield. back glass. headlights. taillights. Mirrors.

The chassis. drive train. suspension. rear end. brakes were fully restored and in excellent condition.  Running boards are in excellent condition.  The 6 wide whitewall tires and hubcaps are in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures.

The engine was rebuilt and looks to be in very good condition.  There is some paint loss from the heat of the engine. The 70 horsepower Series 33 is powered by the Pierce-Arrow Dual-Valve Six using four valves per cylinder and two spark plugs per cylinder. Switches on the instrument panel allowed the engine to be run on either set of spark plugs, or both sets simultaneously. The original script oil can is mounted on the firewall.
