Produced from 1973-1980, the 450 SL features a 4.5L V-8 engine,
understated prestige and sport flamboyance. Quite simply, an
incredibly reliable and modern classic personal luxury vehicle.
According to all original VIN-matched accompanying books and
manuals, 058934 was completed in October 1979 and sold new to
George Harris through Estate Motors of Goldens Bridge, New York on
December 29, 1979. It's said that Harris would own the vehicle for
many years, with record of the SL changing hands in 2002 - all
while residing in the Chappaqua-Armonk area.

appears original throughout the surface with meter readings ranging
from 4-8mils across the vehicle, primarily on the lower range -
with a number of small paint pen touch-ups. All glass is original
etched M-B, complementing the fitted original trim, lenses, hard
and soft convertible tops, Bundt wheels and all upholstery with
supplemental coco mats. Factory decals, tags, plaques and markings
can be seen throughout the 450. The engine bay appears correct in
form, while the rear luggage compartment remains original with
stowed jack, tool kit, and what appears to be the unused original
spare/tire with attached instructional tag. Likewise, the
undercarriage is well preserved and exceptionally solid in all the
crucial areas. All lights, electronics, safety equipment and air
conditioning appear to be in proper working order.
In addition to the emergency equipment and accessories, the 450SL
is complete with two sets of authentic keys, original matching
operations, user manuals and all booklets in vinyl folio, original
DataCard, tool kit, interior cruise control instructional tag,
parts catalog, top wrenches, hardtop stand, and ownership record.
