Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 Background:
Porsche released their all conquering 964 Turbo 3.6 in January,
1993 with orders immediately surpassing production capability and
the entire production run being sold out essentially before the
first examples had been delivered to eagerly awaiting
clientele.
The all new new Turbo featured a final variation of the 3.6 liter
M64 engine which now produced 360bhp at 5,500rpm. The 3.6 liter
powered Turbo was produced only for the 1994 model year, with fewer
than 1,500 of them produced in total, making it one of the rarest
and most sought after Porsches produced since the 959.

the original delivery items from new. All services are zero time
fresh including new tires.
This particular Turbo 3.6 was ordered new by the Middle East
Porsche distributor in Dubai specifically for motor show and
display duties. The order was done under option code M740 which was
at the time the single most expensive individual option that could
be ordered. At the time the cost was in excess of $5,500 USD. The
car was carefully hand assembled and painted with special
preparation on all aspects of the car to insure perfect panel fit
as well as carefully shipping preparation with protective coverings
and material to ensure it would arrive at the ordering destination
ready for show duty. In additional to this, the car was further
fitted with another 34 different option packages in the perfect
color combination of black with a black full leather interior.
Because of the special motor show and display preparation and the
numerous options as well as hand assembly and painting, the
production of this Porsche took almost four weeks from the moment
the order was executed. The car was then shipped to Dubai where it
began its tour as a show stand vehicle. It visited a variety of
motor shows over the six months in and around the Persian Gulf as
well as Saudi Arabia. It was not sold new until December of 1993
after being purchased by a Japanese bank in Tokyo where it was
registered for the first time on Tokyo plates "00223."
This Porsche remained corporately owned and museum owned over the
next 25 plus years until being purchase by our company in February
of this year.
This Porsche is verified all matching numbers, rust and accident
free and fully documented as a specially prepared show car by the
original internal assembly records from Porsche.
