vehicle than a Ford Mustang. 1969 is the year it really became a
muscle car, instead of a pony car. In 1969 the Mustang got bigger,
meaner, and more masculine looking than prior years. With 4
headlights, quarter panel accents and a wide stance the Mustang was
ready to take on the Camaro, Chevelle and Nova that Chevy was
putting out. You could now get a variety of different engines from
an inline 6-cylinder on up to the tire destroying Boss 429. Most of
these landed in the middle with a 302 or one of two 351 V8s. This
example has a later model 302 from a Fox Body Mustang and is
matched with a 5-speed manual. That combination makes this car
peppy and a real treat to drive! Power steering allows you to
maintain control with one hand while you slam through the gears
with the other. The white convertible top drops with a push of a
button for an open-air feel. The exterior is painted in a beautiful
Turquoise with a with rocker stripe that ties nicely to the top
color. Styled steel wheel simulators on on radial tires finish off
the sporty exterior. Drive it like it is or add a Mach 1 hood scoop
and spoiler to really take it to the next level! Under the hood is
nicely detailed and shows well. The interior is done in black vinyl
with an AM/FM/Cassette player added. Bucket front seats and seat
belts look great and provide comfort to you and your passenger. The
trunk is nicely finished off with a correct trunk mat, spare tire,
tire iron and an amplifier. With the updated head unit, amplifier
and extra speakers in the rear panels, this car has a nice little
setup. This is a great car to drive and enjoy and take to local
shows. It has good power and a great look! If you like Mustangs but
want to stand out from the crowd, consider this 1969 convertible.
