Vehicle Description
Every angle of this 1956 Ford F-100 Restomod is a dead giveaway
that this is a full custom machine - especially when you look
underneath because this classic Ford pickup is running on a full C5
Corvette frame! That means an all-independent suspension,
fuel-injected V8 power, overdrive transmission, and the pride of
know this is a complete and awesomely unique build.
This truck likes to show off plenty of street machine attitude in
special ways. It starts with the paint. Primer gray is right for a
workman truck, but the glossy clearcoat on top adds a modern look.
Plus, as you get up close, you can still see it retain a hot rod
kind of spirit. Black is added in all the right places to draw
attention to classic elements like the grille and rounded cab. At
the same time, it also draws your focus to cool custom elements,
like the custom tapered running boards and the wheels that are done
by the masters at Detroit Steel Wheel Co. There are nicely
integrated modern touches throughout, including the HID headlights,
LED light bar up front, and gas cap integrated into the custom rear
fender. In fact, the whole truck is now a unibody setup. The truck
bed has an awesome look thanks to reclaimed barn wood. And what
you'll really love about this is that when you park at the car
shows, the bed floor electronically lifts up to reveal a custom
trunk and let's everyone see the special Corvette transaxle.
Speaking of parking, this one has an adjustable air ride
suspension, so you can watch jaws drop to the ground as lower the
truck all the way to the ground.
All the black accents of the outside get you ready for the full
black interior. There are provisions for comfortable features like
air conditioning, power windows, and an iPod compatible audio
system with subwoofer. And there's an AccuAir e-Level air
management system to dial in your suspension height. The bench seat
has been done with comfortable contouring, and the stitching is
meant to look like a classic sports car. That performance feeling
continues on the wood-rimmed steering wheel, Flaming River tilt
column, Lokar shifter, and upgraded Dakota Digital gauge
cluster.
The hood tilts forward so everyone can get a clear view at the
seriously cool upgrade within. The LS1 V8 is a true modern legend.
This fuel-injected 5.7-liter may have returned Chevys to power
supremacy, but you'll proudly show it off in this Ford. It fires up
with the confidence of a modern fuel-injected powerhouse, and this
feeds Kooks headers on their way to the dual exhaust (Kooks over
the axle-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers also come with the sale.)
You'll want to keep the undercarriage photos for your records,
because everyone's going to want to know more the moment you tell
them that the suspension is also pure C5 Corvette. And of course, a
fuel-injected V8 and fully independent suspension are also exactly
what make for a terrific driving restomod. Plus, with power
steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the Corvette's
four-speed transmission w/overdrive, you can comfortably show off
this full custom build near or far.
It's hard not to get excited about a fully-done restomod like this.
But if you stay on the sidelines and admire too long, it may go
into some else's garage. Call now!
