SALE PENDING to Spain!! This is a gorgeous 1965 Ford Mustang
Fastback that is an authentic 4-speed K Code that is all numbers
matching. When this car was restored, it was turned into a tribute
Shelby GT350H while retaining its original features as a K Code
fastback. Our Southern California consignment client has owned this
Mustang for the past 20 years and has kept it looking nearly
as-new. With what appears to be complete recreated inspection
markings and numbers matching, this could easily be shown at
regional concours events as well as driven on tours. The beautiful
black livery features gold racing stripes and the famous Shelby
GT350H stripe along the side. The paint quality is excellent and
after 20 years still shows extremely well. All of the Shelby
badging is complete, including on the wheel center caps, door
sills, etc. If we didn't tell you that this was a tribute, you
wouldn't know. The black vinyl interior is nearly as new as well,
and it also has the abundance of Shelby badging. We love the fold
down rear seats that are a feature of the fastbacks. The matching
numbers four-speed manual transmission is the way to go and
provides the excitement and pleasure of the full driving
experience. The interior includes a full array of instrumentation
including a Shelby tachometer and all the necessary auxiliary
gauges. We love the fact that Carroll Shelby personally signed the
passenger-side sun-visor at his office in California! As an
authentic matching numbers K Code, this Mustang has its original
high-performance 289 CID engine. As a $442 option when new, the 271
hp (202 kW) "K-code" High Performance engine was the single most
expensive Mustang option, and only 7,273 of the 680,992 Mustangs
sold in 1965 were so equipped. With a skilled driver,
K-code/4-speed equipped Mustangs could do 0-60 in around 6 seconds,
and put down mid 14-second mile times with ease. This Mustang has
many of the Shelby upgrades and looks as aggressive as it performs.
The undercarriage is in very nice condition with no signs of rust
or damage. Our full inspection revealed that the passenger side
trailing arm is slightly bent and the high beams are not
functioning. Everything else works well and functions great! The
Hagerty Price Guide has the No. 2 example of the K-Code fastback
valued at $71,280, so this is priced right. For more information
and details, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.602.245.7200 or

for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.
