What could be better than hitting a top speed of nearly 200 mph in
a drop-dead gorgeous coupe? Maybe doing so without the top. Aston
Martin's fastest-ever convertible, the V12 Vantage S roadster is as
equally powerful, luxurious, and sporting as its fixed-head sibling
and arguably much more exciting.
Announced in 2014, the V12 Vantage S roadster is loaded with
sporting features. On the outside, the carbon-fiber grille and
bonnet vents-optioned in the car presented here in subtle black
mesh-serve to maximize airflow to the engine. As on the coupe, it
features pronounced bonnet louvers and flared wheel arches, all of
which serve to underscore the roadster's sporting capabilities.
Inside, Aston Martin's luxurious pedigree reigns supreme. The
roadster offered here is kitted out in a stunning two-tone Black
and Spicy Red leather, with black Aston Martin wings embroidered on
the headrests.
Mechanically, Aston Martin's well-tuned V-12 engine produces an
astounding output of 565 bhp, with a top speed of 201 mph with the
roof up and nearing that with it down. With a 0-60 mph acceleration
of 3.9 seconds, the performance is exceptional. Until 2017,
however, the Vantage was only available with a paddle-shift
transmission. Offered on this example is the upgraded seven-speed
manual transmission, built with a dogleg first gear-just an extra
detail that makes this Aston Martin that much more special. For
serious drivers who want to feel connected with their car, this is
the enthusiast's ideal Aston Martin.
With mere delivery mileage and finished in an incredible and
unusual color scheme, this manual V12 Vantage S roadster won't be
around for long.To view this car and others currently consigned to
