22,132 actual miles. 3 owners total. First owner was elderly when
he bought it and only occaisionally drove it. 2nd owner is a
Cadillac club member and collector, he put 600 miles on it. 3rd
owner is also a Cadillac club member and collector. He wanted a low
mile, triple black brougham. In his words "I'm very serious about
my cars" He spent $20,000 going through the mechanics making it
like new. Receipts are included. Cosmetically it is an original
survivor in impressive condition.
EXTERIOR: Stunning looks. The body is pristine with a mirror
reflection back paint and gleaming chrome. Both sides of the car
are absolutely straight, there's no rust, no dents, no cracking.
The plastic fillers between the bumper and car are excellent. The
black paint is polished out to a smooth glossy finish. Every piece
of trim is shiny and straight. The chrome, the stainless moldings
all are excellent. The mirror has an outside thermometer. Hubcaps
are excellent, recent Hancook tires. The padded vinyl top is
excellent. All the glass is crystal clear. Original weatherstrips
are still in good shape.
INTERIOR: The original interior is absolutely pristine. The pillow
top leather seats are softest leather I've ever felt. The leather
is treated and looks new. Not faded or cracked. The door panels are
pristine including the chrome pieces and woodgrain. Dash and
instrument area is also pristine. The chrome vents are sparkling
clean. The chrome bezels, lenses, knobs all look new still. None of
the cigarette lighters or ashtrays have been used. I'm sitting in
back, has plenty of legroom and fold down carpeted footrests.
Headliner is pristine. Everything works including the individual
map lights, factory Am-Fm 8-track stereo and power accessories.
Dash bulbs were replaced. Inside the glove box is the original
owner's manuals.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The biggest motor available in any car- 500
cubic inches! Very clean, original appearance. It has been very
thoroughly maintained and serviced. Items replaced- belts, hoses,
battery and cable, power steering hose, master cylinder, water pump
and thermostat, rebuilt carb, set motor to factory specs. Flushed
radiator, new valve cover gaskets. Lube oil and filter 5 times in 2
years. Air conditioning is updated to R134a freon. Everything's
hooked up right down to the windshield squirters. Has factory 4
barrel carb and HEI ignition.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All bodies have been removed. Fully lined and
excellent condition. Weatherstrip is like new. Has jack and spare.
Has working trunk light, power trunk release and automatic pull
down.
UNDERSIDE: Very solid, preserved original condition. Maintenance
includes in front- radius arm bushings, front shocks, repack wheel
bearings, new steering box, center link, idler arm, front end
alignment. The Turbo 400 automatic transmission was rebuilt,
adjusted shift linkage. Brakes- new front hoses, wheel cylinders,
bled brakes. In black- serviced the rear end, new shocks and
springs. New rubber fuel lines and fuel pump.
Very desirable triple black, top of the line Fleetwood Brougham.
Great ownership history. You are getting the perfect scenario- a
low mile pampered survivor that has had $20,000 in service! Looks
and functions like a new car!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
