Vehicle Description
If you like your cars fresh and clean, this 1971 Chevrolet Nova
deserves a close look. A thorough restoration that has just
recently been completed, you'll like seeing new components where it
counts, such as a new power brake booster or steering box. If you
like to get down under the car to check things out, you'll be
rewarded with the discovery of a stainless steel fuel tank. It's
one of those elements that's both a functional upgrade and a good
indicator of the quality of the entire build. The floorboards were
Raptor-coated to preserve the newness as much as possible. Examples
of other items that were kicked up a notch are the serpentine belt
system, which includes a wider, tougher belt than stock, and a QA1
coilover front suspension. The 350 small block and the Chevrolet
Nova go together like. . . well there's nothing better. This one
has an Edelbrock intake and carb for a little extra sauce. A chrome
open-element air cleaner tops off a very tidy engine room. You'll
notice that not only are most components either new or sparkling
clean, but you'll see that things are indexed and marked --
hallmarks of a professional restoration. As you know, the Nova has
gone from economy car to muscle machine to coveted classic. So the
interior maintains the overall look and feel of the original, but
with some extras. Take the helm with a handsome woodgrain steering
wheel on a tilt column. Between the black bucket seats is a custom
center console with a custom shifter, auxiliary gauges, and a
modern touch - a stainless cupholder. Of course, the exterior is of
prime importance, and this one delivers with striking metallic blue
paint and impressive vintage style chrome Rev 5-spoke wheels. The
tires are beefy 235 and 255/60R15 radials that fill the fenderwells
oh-so-nicely. The Nova has earned its reputation as a giant killer
on the street and on the strip. Now it's getting its due as a
desirable collectible. This 1971 Chevrolet Nova is a tasteful,
quality restoration with upgrades in the right places, while
maintaining the character of a car with legions of loyal fans. It's
ready for your closest personal inspection.
