1969 Ford F100 Ranger
300cid with new 4bbl upfit. including header and exhaust. New front and rear window seals, all glass original. Power steering and new power brake upfit including new lines. New heavy duty tilt steering column with custom wheel. New seat and matching headliner NIB. AOD transmission. Recently rebuilt head with new valves. New water pump and oil pump, motor has been re-gasketed. New rear axle seals with re-built wheel cylinders. New ignition switch, voltage regulator and dimmer switch. Billet aluminum door lock knobs and accelerator pedal. Aluminum rims with deep dish in the rear. Major up fitting and repairs done by KIR (Keith Irwin Restorations). All old parts are included in sale including steering column, 3 speed manual transmission w/hurst shifter, bell housing and all original carb and intake, plus extra rear bumper.
Many new, ujn-installed parts are included with sale- new arm rests (L&R), door switches, exterior chrome door handles (L&L) NIB, anti-rattlers for windows, LED tail light inserts (L&R) NIB, chrome f100 hood emblems (L&R) NIB, rear bed reflectors (&R) NIB new front fenders (L&R) primed black, new inner fender aprons (L&R) primed black, new lower door repair panels (L&R) primed black.
All repairs have focused on the mechanical function of the truck. As stated earlier, the major repairs and upfiting were done by KIR restorations in Concord NC and owner stated that "the truck drove and handled great." Rust and body repair issues, such as floor pans and rust holes in bed, have not yet been addressed, and are common for a vehicle of this vintage. Rocker panels are very solid and truck is overall in sound mechanical condition. Dashboard was covered and after one day in the sun, warping has occurred. Warps can be trimmed off and covered with dash mat and will look great. The frame is in great condition. The body does have a few rust issues, but no improper repairs have to be re-done and NO BONDO has been used. After a trip to the body shop, with all the additional included parts, this will be a great running and looking vehicle.
I hate to see my daily driver go, but I am moving to the mountains soon and need to replace my truck with a newer 4x4
