I bought my Chevrolet Bel Air, 4 door sedan in Marietta, Ohio, 8 years ago and drove it home to Fairmont, WV at 70 mph, and it was a very smooth ride. The car has a 265 V-8 with automatic power-glide transmission, a new paint, glass, interior and tires when I bought it. I have put 4,000 miles on it averaging 500 miles per year. I had the brake system upgraded to a dual master cylinder with power brakes, and the transmission was resealed. It has a new gas tank with new sending units in the tank and dash. It has electronic ignition and new water pump. This car presents very well at car shows. There is no rust. All gauges work except the radio. I never repaired because the only AM radio station in the area is all sports.
