the top street engine available from Chevrolet for 1967, the RPO
L71 Turbo-Jet 427 V-8 with wild solid-lifter camshaft and Tri-Power
intake mounting triple Holley two-barrel carburetors, factory-rated
at 435 HP. Power is delivered by a Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed
manual transmission. Factory-finished in Goodwood Green over Saddle
Vinyl upholstery, the Corvettes factory options include A01 Tinted
Glass, U69 Pushbutton AM/FM Radio, K66 Transistor Ignition, N14
Side Dual Exhaust, F41 Special Suspension and 3.55:1 G81
Positraction Axle. Following assembly, the Corvette was delivered
to New York Chevrolet dealer Yonkers Motors Corp. and sold to the
first owner.On November 22, 1968, the current owner acquired the
Corvette from the original owner. He used it for only a few years
and placed it into storage until mid-2001 when it was sent to the
experts at Nabers Brothers in Houston, Texas for a total
concours-quality restoration. Following completion in 2003, the
restorers showed the Corvette and that year, it earned the top
three awards possible in the Corvette world: the Gold Spinner Award
at the Chevy Vettefest, Bloomington Gold certification and Top
Flight from the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society).
Achievement of these three awards resulted in the coveted Triple
Crown the ultimate award of Corvette excellence, also earned during
2003.The Corvette was only driven on and off its trailer during its
three show outings and it has been kept in climate-controlled
storage for the owner at The Last Detail since 2003. The
restoration remains fresh and the car retains fully matching
numbers. Remaining in exceptional condition throughout as one of
the finest anywhere today, this Corvette includes a window sticker
copy, original Invoice and Bill of Sale, a 1968-dated letter
confirming transfer from the original owner to the current owner
and most recently, the NCRS Shipping Data Report. Original factory
