The Original Sport Utility vehicle, the Land Rover defender needs
little in the way of Introduction. Initially introduced in 1948, it
went through several generations of production all the way through
1985. Designed as more of an agricultural utility vehicle, the
offering from Rover Company was an instant success. Each generation
saw improvements and the Series III is the most desirable of the
original Defenders for this reason.

Defender for sale. Fresh from a restoration this Defender is ready
for anything. The paint looks excellent and the body is straight. A
brand new brown soft top contrasts the paint nicely and features
roll up sides and a roll up back window. 1975 was the introductory
year of the Synchromesh 4 speed transmission making shifting much
smoother than earlier Defenders. The 2.25L engine roars to life and
runs smooth. The interior of this Defender has all new
reupholstered seats, and fresh floor mats. 1975 was also the first
year for revised dash, now looking more elegant in black with the
gauges relocated directly in front of the driver.
