new high gloss bright red paint job that was cut and buffed to a
show quality finish. That red paint goes great with Rally wheels
wrapped in new Cooper Cobra radial tires, a rear spoiler and ram
air hood. Inside, the black vinyl bucket seats are pure muscle car,
but the center console and woodgrain accents give it a rich feel as
well. An AM/FM/CD player has been added, so roll those windows down
and crank up some classic rock! Under the hood is where the real
fun begins. A "YS" code 400 CID V8 engine is topped with an
Offenhauser aluminum performance intake manifold, Holley 4-barrel
carburetor, Champion aluminum radiator and new full-length
aluminized dual exhaust that has a deep rumble. The 400 is mated to
a 3-speed automatic transmission with quick firm shifts. The power
then heads back to a posi-traction rear end to give you the
advantage off the line! Power steering and power brakes provide
ease and comfort on long drives or stop and go situations. A power
trunk release allows you to open the trunk without digging for your
keys. Popping that trunk lid reveals a highly detailed trunk with
mat, spare tire and jack. The inside of the trunk is painted in
correct spatter paint, so you can be proud to show it off. A gauge
cluster of oil pressure, voltage and temperature has been added to
keep a closer eye on what the engine is doing. The underside of
this car has also been professionally detailed and finished in a
satin black. The Firebird is the sister car to the Chevrolet Camaro
