Vehicle Description
Just in and up For Sale is a Beautiful 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T 440.
Yes, it's a True R/T, and the original 440hp engine. This car was
restored right back to the way it came form it's Assembly plant in
St. Louis Missouri. It was Sold new at Burgin Dodge in Knoxville
TN, where it has spent it's whole life. I have over 100 pictures of
it's restoration. Even the pictures of the engine being rebuilt.
This car runs Strong, and drives Awesome. It has a 440hp Engine, a
727 Torque Flight Automatic Transmission, a 8 3/4 Sure Grip
Positive Traction Rear End with a 3:55 Ratio. It has Power
Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Bucket Seats, 150MPH Speedometer,
Front HD Sway Bar, and Yes, a Rare Factory Tach. I also have the
original Hub Caps. I have all the paperwork that you could want
with this car. Every owner, every tag slip, and pictures of it from
when it was new. The Fender Tag shows exactly what this car is. I
had a friend of mine to Hot Steam Pressure Wash the Entire Bottom
of this Car, and I haven't ever seen a more solid Vehicle. The
original paint markings are still right where the Factory Put them.
This appears to be a No Hit Body and Frame. It is Very Straight,
and Very Solid. It is Believed to be the Original 66K miles. I have
a Tennessee title for the car, which is where this car was Sold
new, and where this car has spent it's whole LIFE. What's this car
Worth? Good Question! The last owner wanted over $50K for it.
However, I will take much less for it. This classic R/T is located
in Hixson, TH 37343 just 15 minutes north of Chattanooga and its
airport. Inspections encouraged and welcomed by appointment.
Shipping and financing available to qualified buyers.
