Very nice, excellent running 1970 Volvo P1800E delivered in the US. This 1970 Volvo was equipped with a tan interior and dark green exterior. The body was repainted using the original color in 2002 by Gateway Autobody in Gilbert AZ. The rims are original factory alloy wheels restored in 2004. The engine is a 2.0-liter 130-hp inline four-cylinder B20E with Bosch D-Jetronic electronic fuel injection. The engine was rebuilt in 2010 by Baileys Machine in Mesa AZ. The drive train is manual 4 speed M410 transmission with a Laycock electric overdrive. The overdrive was rebuilt in 2004 by Bob Skoog in Temecula CA. The clutch and alternator were replaced in 2005. The car is generally stock with a few modifications: Bilstein Shocks, Hella H4 Vision Plus Head Lights, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Pertronix electronic ignition, steel timing gear.
First and original owner 21 years ownership 1970 to 1991. Current owner 29 years, ownership 1991 to present Mileage 178,614.
