My father gave me this vehicle in 1995 (my sister got the ‘65 hardtop). I drove and restored this little pony until 1999 and then stored it in my garage where it has sat covered, untouched, and undriven for over 20 years.
Restoration included (among other things) disassembly, sand down to bare metal, and a complete new paint job in it’s original Vintage Burgundy splendor. The power convertible top and interior are brand new to include upholstery, door panels, carpet, dash pad, etc. Also new are the tires, shocks, brakes, and exhaust. I had planned to redo the drivetrain as well but never got around to it, so that part will be up to you (there is an engine in the vehicle that is not the original, the original engine is available as well).
This classic beauty has been in my family as far back as my memory goes, but it’s time to get it out of the garage and set it free… interested?
