For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet El Camino in Seekonk, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

This beautiful 1967 Chevrolet El Camino LS2 Custom is the ultimate cruiser. It’s been completely restored to show quality standards and is loaded with options. As the VIN tag indicates this car was born a 1967 Chevrolet Malibu Series El Camino 8cyl 2-door sedan pickup that was built in Fremont, CA. The cowl tag indicates it was also born a 1967 Chevrolet Malibu Series EL Camino that was built the 4th week of November with a Gold exterior and Gold interior. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car from a gentleman in California who purchased it from another gentleman in California. It appears the car has spent its life in California until now. When this car was restored it was restored right with many high quality parts. It’s not clear exactly when the car was restored or how many miles it’s been driven since the restoration. From the condition of everything it looks like it’s had limited use.

The exterior body is really straight with great gap lines throughout. It’s been dressed with an SS style hood with louvers. The hood, doors and tailgate operate very nicely. During the restoration the decision was made to change the factory exterior and interior color. The body was painted a beautiful shade of Blue which is eye candy. This color complements this body style perfectly. The paint job is high quality and in excellent overall condition. The inside of the rear bed was also painted the same as the body. A removable rubber mat was custom made to protect the floor of the bed. All of the glass is new and slightly tinted which looks great. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the window trim, chrome body moldings, wipers, dual mirrors, door handles, grille, headlights, front bumper, taillights and rear bumper. The emblems were removed for a smooth appearance. It has a killer stance on Boss Motorsports 18” wheels that have an anthracite center and polished lip. The wheels are wrapped with Sumitomo HTRZ III tires that are 245-45-18 on the front and 275-40-18 on the rear. A custom car cover is included. This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino LS2 Custom has got it going on!

The Blue and White interior has been completely restored from top to bottom. The entire interior is a finished in a beautiful shade of Blue with exception of the door panels and seats which are White. The dash and doors were painted Blue and done high quality standards like the exterior. It still retains the factory look with only a few custom features. Everything has been restored or replaced such as the headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, dash board and hardware, gauge cluster, door sills, door panels, door hardware, bucket seats, seat belts, pedals, etc. It has a new blue floor console with clock, floor shifter and storage compartment. Some of the custom features include air conditioning, tilt steering column, billet levers, Budnik Stratos Anthracite 15.5” steering wheel, Autometer Pro-Comp tachometer, Retro stereo system, rear mounted antenna and black carpeted floor mats. An extra set of blue rubber floor mats are included. Everything in the interior is in working order. However, some of the gauges aren’t 100% accurate like the speedometer since there factory style gauges and it has modern equipment. The interior of this car is very spacious and simply gorgeous!

The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with many upgrades. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were painted the body color. The car is powered by a GM Performance LS2 crate engine that is rated with 400HP. The GM Performance engine tag was placed on the firewall. The engine is dressed with Corvette LS2 valve covers, K&N air intake system and Milodon oil pan. It’s equipped with a Moroso external oil filter system. The engine is cooled by an HD aluminum radiator with dual Spal electric fans. The engine breathes through custom headers and a Borla Pro XS exhaust system that sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a GM 700R4 transmission. The power is transferred to a GM 12-bolt rear end. This drivetrain combination is great for reliability and drivability. It’s also equipped with power steering which makes turning a breeze. This car is a great cruiser but also a monster when called upon!

The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout with many upgrades. The frame was powder coated Gray and looks great. It’s equipped with an Aeromotive fuel system which includes an external fuel pump and sumped fuel tank. The front and rear suspension is all new Ridetech components which include adjustable coil-overs at all four corners. The power braking system consists of Corvette slotted rotors and Blue calipers for quick stopping. This car handles as good as it looks!
This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino LS2 Custom is truly the ultimate cruiser. It’s been restored to a higher quality then most El Caminos from this generation. It’s got the great looks of a classic car but the modern conveniences of a newer car. What else could you ask for?
