Vehicle Description
1986 Pontiac Fiero
Why This Vehicle is Special
The 1986 Pontiac Fiero like the white one we have here at Skyway
Classics is a mid-engined sports car that was sold by General
Motors from 1984 to 1988.
The Fiero was designed as a sports car and was first two-seater
Pontiac since the 1926 to 1938 coupes, and the first, mass-produced
mid-engine sports car by a U.S. manufacturer.
Many technologies incorporated in the Fiero design such as
composite panels were radical for their time. Other features
included hidden headlamps and, initially, integrated stereo
speakers within the driver and passenger headrests.
Mechanical The engine in the Fiero is a 2.8 liter V6 which was
rated at 140 horsepower in an engine bay that is clean and detailed
and it has a Muncie/Getrag 5-speed transaxle. These cars are known
to be quick and nimble with the high performance black wall tires
and mesh wheels.
Interior
Inside it has a tan and grey cloth twin bucket seat interior with
Fiero emblems sewn into the backs, center console housing the floor
shifter, dash with gauges including a tachometer, good door panels,
sunroof, air conditioning, with all items looking factory
installed.
Exterior
The condition of the exterior is nice painted in white and it has a
great sporty look to it with the bottom cladded ground effects
painted in grey, factory rear spoiler, factory front spoiler, dual
tips on the dual exhaust sticking out the rear valence panel, and
tinted windows.
