different variations, offering different engine and body
configurations. 2 Door or 4 door wagons or sedans, optional engines
to the tune of a Blue Streak inline 6, or a few different V8
variations. All in all, the immediately recognizable styling is
familiar to millions of people the world over whether the car is an
upscale Bel Air, or a 'Townsman' 9 passenger wagon. The 150 sedan
we offer for your consideration has the gorgeous looks with a few
upgrades. This icon is as American as Baseball, or Apple Pie. This
car has been owned by our client for approximately 20 years after
he acquired it from his cousin. A complete restoration was
completed approximately 4 years ago and this car was a perfect
platform. The car wears all original sheet metal which made the
restoration process a little easier. This car is a mix of original
parts and some aftermarket goodies. The two-tone exterior is
finished in a pearl metallic white over gray metallic. The chrome
on the exterior of this car is beautiful, especially the new
bumpers. The front end is jaw dropping, just covered in all that
chrome - might take a little elbow grease to keep clean, but it
would definitely be worth the time and effort. Inside, the original
bench seat takes pride of place. The seats were reupholstered in a
two tone color scheme during the restoration process, the original
gauges were replaced by silver-faced AutoMeter items, and a new
steering wheel inspired by the original wheel is close at hand.
Under the hood is a 350ci V8 mated to a rebuilt TH350 transmission
with a Camaro 3.23:1 rear end. It's a tidy install which features a
Holley 4BBL Carb, GM Performance Intake Manifold, SpeedMasters
Ignition, FlowMaster exhaust components, and a number of polished
parts. Power brakes, and power steering are a plus, making this car
easier to drive. A solid car as a base for restoration is a rarity,
especially for a car that is 62 years old. This iconic '57 Chevy
150 Sedan is one of the cars many people think of when the words
