Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 is a very cool representation of a nicely
restored pickup that's also received a dose of aggression to go
with its vintage style. So with the amazing paint, big block V8,
and ice cold A/C interior, you already know this is the truck for
you.
This one makes a stellar first impression. After all, you could get
a red from Chevy back in '72, but it never looked as good as this.
There is a deep luster from a modern clearcoat application that
instantly let's everyone know this is a quality application. And
when the paint looks this good, only the best brightwork will do.
The bumper, grille, and clear headlights put a truly shining face
forward. And the addition of 20-inch US Mags wheels on the lowered
stance gives this the polished and sporty look that's the real
theme of this restored truck. But just because it's a shining star,
doesn't mean it loses its practical pickup side. With fresh liner
paint in the bed, it not only looks great, but it can also help
with the weekend projects.
The interior has been restored to really show off the vintage cool
feeling. You especially see that in the seats. After all,
houndstooth cloth inserts are an icon in Chevys, and these feel
fresh from the solid investment all around this pickup. The tan on
the seat, carpeting, door panels, dash pad, and steering wheel make
for a tasteful color combo against the red that returns on the dash
and door tops. And while this all has a classic presentation, you
also have terrific well-integrated upgrades. This includes a
retro-style AM/FM stereo w/aux input, tilt steering column, and
cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.
We love big block power in these pickups, and just like the rest of
the truck, this one is ready to show off. It has great details like
the smooth inner fenders and the classic script valve covers that
coordinate with the air topper. And as you look at everything, it
all has the fresh look that tells you this truck is a thoughtful
and clean build. An Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor w/electric
choke and Edelbrock intake, on top of the 454 V8, means this one
fires up readily as it inhales deeply. The long tube headers add
power while contributing to the rumble of the shortened dual
exhaust. And that big aluminum radiator is exactly what you want on
a strong-runner like this. Even the suspension has received
attention during the restoration, right down to the bushings, so
this feels solid on the road. The TH400 three-speed automatic
transmission is a stout unit that knows how to handle this big
power. Plus, you have power brakes w/discs up front, power
steering, and the grip of modern performance tires.
This is the build that is powerful, comfortable, and fresh
all-around. So don't miss out on the C10 that has everything you
want. Call today!!!
