Vehicle Description
This Original Good Humor Truck, which was out of service for
decades, still retains its factory original Amerio Freezer Company
nameplate. It was just given a fresh and complete body-off
restoration. This process was photo-documented and it comes with a
binder of pictures of the entire process. It was completely
overhauled and has a freshly rebuilt 261ci inline-6 engine, a
rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission. It has completely new brake
and fuel systems, and the suspension was rebuilt with new shocks
and bushings. It has new wiring and a 12-volt electrical conversion
which runs a modern alternator for better reliability. The Good
Humor livery decals - along with the side lighting, brass bells and
other accessories - are all new but period-correct. It rides on new
wide whitewall tires with original-style rims. It even comes with
its very own vintage Good Humor man to display with it. It has a
functional ice box to keep the ice cream snacks frozen. These
original trucks are hard to find.
