Garage Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is honored to present one
of the cleanest and baddest Camaro builds we've ever had the
privilege to bring to market. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Tribute has been owned by the same owner for the past 16 years. It
beckons to be driven, and sounds oh so amazing while doing it.
We've never had so much fun behind the wheel, and we are hoping you
can tuck that same fun away in your stable. You won't regret it.
Starting with the body, the car retains all of its original sheet
metal with a paint restoration finished in Cadillac Pearl Red with
the correct white stripes. All panels remain stock with the
exception of the roller rear fender lips that keep the car sitting
low to the pavement. A tasteful modification indeed. Enough with
the beauty, the beast under the hood is where this first gen
thrives. The car is outfitted with a brand new LS3 6.2L Crate Motor
from GM with just over 6k miles recorded. The car also offers a
stand alone GM LS3 Wiring Harness, Custom Grind Cam from Tick
Performance with upgraded Rocker Trunion, upgraded valve springs
and pushrods, Speedtech Performance Long Tube headers made for
Speedtech Subframe, PRC 3-Core Radiator with Twin Electric Cooling
Fans. Fuel system is a Ricks Vaporworx tank with in tank fuel pump
specifically for designed for the LS3. The drivetrain features a
Speedtech Performance Pro-Touring Subframe, AFX Spindles with C6
ZR1 Wheel Bearingsand Hubs, Viking PerformanceDouble Adjustable
Coilovers front and rear, BMR Subframe Connectors, BMR Torque arm
with Watts Link, T56 magnum with McLoed Twin Disc Clutch, Custom
Aluminum Driveshaft, 12 Bolt Posiwith Eaton Locker and 3:73 gears.
Safety hardware includes C6 Z06 Brake Package, Wilwood Manual Brake
setup with Proportioning Valve, Custom 3-Piece Forged Aluminum
Wheels from ISS (18x8.5 front 18x10 rear) wrapped in Michelin Pilot
Sport Cup Rubber. The car is lightweight quick, yet handles so well
that you never feel out of control. A proper built Camaro. On the
inside, you'll find a primarily stock style interior, stock door
panels, stock seats with a custom guagecluster. The Speedhut
Guages are custom wired to engine and the GM PCM. The car has been
outfitted with a GPS Speedo with multiple settings, like quarter
mile time calculation. The car has a brand new and updated wiring
harness for entire car wired into the GM computer so everything
comunicateswith each other seamlessly. Last creature comfort, but
certainly not least, is Vintage Air Conditioning and Heat. Go fast
and stay cool. This is a remarkable car, and the attention to
detail of the build while considering the long term ownership, sets
it apart from others. All work was completed in 2015 with all new
parts and was never driven in inclement weather, not even rain.
Always parked and stored in a heated garage. It is our client's
baby and deserves a worthy home to raise it. You can't source and
build this level of car for the price offered here. So much fun to
be had. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main
website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any
questions. Thank you for looking.
