Pontiac GTO convertible for sale. This story begins in September
1968 when an attorney from Wisconsin walked into Pioneer Motors in
Lancaster, WI. He gave the salesman a simple order..."I want the
fastest GTO convertible you can sell me, it needs to have a hood
tach, a four speed manual transmission and rally gauges...and I
want it now!!! Nothing on the showroom floor fit the bill, so the
attorney ordered this car, the way he wanted, in the colors he
wanted it. Early December of 1969 the "go-fast" GOAT rolled off the
Pioneer Motors lot and was put in his garage to avoid the Southern
Wisconsin snow. In the spring of 1970, he started enjoying his GTO
for almost 50 years. Unfortunately, the original owner passed away
a couple of years ago and the GTO, with 79k miles on the odometer
went into the second owner's classic car collection. Today we are
glad the third owner brought this beautiful 69 GTO into our South
Florida showroom. Turn the key and you will know why they call the
GTO the ultimate muscle car. Equipped with a fresh rebuild 400ci V8
engine that is mated to a Muncie 4 speed manual transmission we can
confirm how much fun it is to drive this Pontiac. The straight body
is wrapped in beautiful green paint. The original interior is in
great condition. A new Vintage Air A/C system, Power Steering and
Disc Brakes were added to make this ride as comfortable as
possible. This 1969 Pontiac GTO is ready for owner #4. A wonderful
preserved classic car that comes with a lot of documentation.
