For Sale: 1970 Dodge Charger in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

It only takes one glance to see that this 1970 Dodge Charger Restomod is a serious custom machine. But more than just the bold green, this has a custom body, custom interior, and serious fuel-injected Hemi power. And everything from the five-speed to the suspension tells you they had all the right details in mind, too. So dig into all the features of this awesome restomod.

The green is instantly grabbing your attention because it's a House of Kolors paint. They are the home of bold. But that's far from the only thing that keeps all eyes focused on this coupe. It perfectly blends old and new world styles, and it all starts with the iconic '70 Charger silhouette. It has a performance image that's burned into our minds thanks to Hollywood stardom in Bullitt, The Dukes of Hazzard, etc. But you can instantly tell that this one is a unique creation all of its own. Brightwork was changed to a dark heart with black smoothed bumpers and modern alloys finished in black (don't you just love how the larger, wider rear ones let everyone know where the power meets the pavement.) This well-coordinated darkness continues on the hidden headlight front end, blackout rear panel, tinted windows, and full blackout trim package. And if you need more evidence of how thoughtful this build is, just check out the well-integrated custom hood scoop. Not only does it fit with the black accenting (with a hint of green glow!) but also you instantly see the bold yellow Hemi callout on top. If you look at Mopar's iconic Bumblebee stripe on the back, it has the same yellow used for a boarder. This is truly a detail-oriented build.

The green with black color theme of the outside switches priorities for the interior. Everything from the seats, to the door panels, to the carpeting looks deep, dark, and quite fresh. There's plenty more evidence that this is a thoughtful build as you look through the interior, and it starts with the front seats. These are modern Mopar buckets that offer terrific bolstering, and the both power adjust to your ideal position. The supple black leather even has cool green contrast stitching. And while this is an upgrade, Mopar fans will instantly recognize the pattern that mimics the original '70 Charger. There's a ton more custom work, like the bold green center console, green carbon fiber-like inserts, and the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input. But this one also still get the classic details right, like the pistol-grip shifter. It's a true driver's machine with an upgraded sports steering wheel and a crisp AutoMeter gauges. Plus, that FiTech Go-EFI control module really lets you dial-in the monster under the hood.

There's only about 1,700 miles on this build, and the clean and mean presentation of the motor really showcases the freshness. This is a 572 cubic-inch Hemi V8. It has been enhanced and fortified, including bored .40 over, Eagle Pistons, Eagle rods, Stage V heads, hi-rise intake, and dual FI Tech fuel injection modules. This is a truly professional build, and so it's supported by all the right pieces. You see it everywhere from color-matched bracing built into the engine bay, to a large Wizard aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans to help keep this one running cool. Those long tube headers add power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. And you have complete control over the big power motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. As you look at the undercarriage photos, you're going to see a serious investment in the suspension with a beefy tubular control arm setup up front, a four-link rear w/diagonal link, and an adjustable coilovers behind every wheel. Add in a limited slip rear end, power steering, and drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes and you know this restomod knows how to bring its power to the streets.

Complete with restoration photos, this was already a rare Mopar before the custom work began, and now it's a one-of-a-kind dream custom. So this is a once in a lifetime opportunity on a Mopar that was built to win awards and eat the streets. Don't miss out, call today!
