Vehicle Description
This custom and restored 1956 Ford F-100 pickup is powered by a
late model Ford 302ci V8 engine with an aluminum Weiand 4-barrel
intake, Edelbrock carburetor, aluminum valve covers and a matching
air cleaner. The engine is backed by a Ford C6 3-speed automatic
transmission with a Ford 9-inch 3.36 posi-traction rear end. The
engine has steel headers connected to Flowmaster exhaust with dual
side exhaust. The suspension has been lowered and has a Mustang II
front clip. It features disc brakes, polished aluminum radiator,
and power & rack pinion steering. The paint is a base coat/clear
coat with flames and the truck bed is red oak and protected with
four coats of water-protected material. The interior has tilt
steering with a banjo wheel and a modern set of gauges. It rides on
American Racing wheels with new tires. The pickup has been
completely detailed in, out and underneath.
